Christmas Decorating

I am so far behind in my blogging, but the my excuse is that the Christmas Season was incredibly busy and things got crazy.  But I did want to share my Christmas decorations with everyone.

I am still not really back into the Christmas spirit as it were, I am more grinch than Santa, but I do love decorating the house.  We did it one weekend at the beginning of December after we bought our tree from Costco.  I got into the decorating spirit for one day then the Christmas spirit seemed to go dormant.

Truth be told, all the decorations are already down, on one hand this makes me sad on another, I am glad I don't have to do it.

This year for Christmas I did more of the window decorations and built up my Christmas Village again. I love my Christmas village and I add a new item each year.

40th Birthday Bucket List

I am turning 40 this year.  After turning 39, I struggled with turning 40, the thought would take my breathe away and I felt sick.  I don't even know why, it's so dumb, I rarely feel like I am 40, sometimes I think I am still only 25.  So it's strange that for at least six months, I was in a state of anxiety every time I thought about turning 40.  It probably had something to do with my depression and as I move out of that state, I am less encumbered by turning 40 and more willing to face it head on with a smile on my face. So I have come up with a list of things I am going to do in the 365 days that I am 40.  Some of them are things I should have done years ago, but I have neglected and some are brand new who would have thought I would want to do this items. 1. Get a Will. 2. Travel to Vancouver (this one I get to check off since I did this as my birthday trip with my mom) 3. Travel to Vegas 4. Travel to Mexico 5. Travel to New York City. 6. Day in the Life Friday Five

Today is another Friday Five Link Up with the wonderful ladies Mar, Cynthia and Courtney !! Check out their blogs for some great reads!! So happy I found this link up!! It's hard for me to chronicle my days, because at this moment in time they are never exactly the same. Some I send the kids to school and relish in the silence, some Lil man is home and we are constantly on the go doing one activity or another.  Some days are weekends, everyone is home and we've got playdates and sports and activities planned.
