Smartboard file or Google Document

I have an idea, I want to create a working document for my students to be able to access and change and edit as they work through a unit.  I am thinking of doing something like a Wikipedia for 8th grade science and I need to know what would be better to use.  I was thinking of doing a Smartboard file with different pages then creating a main page with links that would take you to different slides the the students had worked on.  I am just not sure if I am that tech suavey to do that.  Then I encountered Google Documents, and was wondering if that would be a better idea, and then I could transfer the information to a Smartboard file for a presentation for the students. 
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions that could help me solve this conundrum?

40th Birthday Bucket List

Friday Favourites!! Friday Five Link Up

I'm again linking up with the girls in DC, Mar, Courtney and Cynthia for the Friday Five.  I've been waiting all week to write this post and I'm so glad I get to talk about my Favourite things!! I'm going to talk about my new favourite things, things I've recently discovered and now use on a daily basis!!! 1) I've discovered some new make up palettes.  Make up and I have gone through many phases and faces in my life. For a time all I bought were the cover girl eye shadows, blushes and mascara.  Then I grew up and started experimenting with other drug store make up. I was a bit of a hoarder.  Then in the past 5 years I've moved from palettes of Make up to single colours that I would blend. I've used Mary Kay, Benefit, Arbonne and I've enjoyed them all.  But recently I've been wanting to buy a New palette of colours so I could change up my look, and I found two that I love!! Full time teaching contract

I am beyond excited to announce that I will be a full time, continuing contract teacher starting in August!! It's been a long road, but I've finally found that teaching assignment that was made for me!! So here is to many more years of working with kids that need the most assistance but fill your heart so much with every triumph and smile!! I'm beyond blessed to have these students in my life!!
