Life's Whirlwind Adventures

It's been two months since our Teddybear joined the family!! It's been a busy two months and there have been some interesting adjustments that we have made.  Your big brother, who used to be the baby,  has taken on his role as Big Brother with love and grace. It's taking him some getting used to that Mommy can't jump every time he calls, but he loves you and is trying to understand. He has even verbalized that now that you are here I can no longer call him Baby.  My Baby is now Teddybear,  Lil man is now my little boy. As for you my sweet little Teddybear, you are a sweet, bright eyed, happy little baby.  You've started smiling (not for the camera) and we've even gotten a laugh out of you. Lil Man has  a lot of friends born in January, I guess people drank a lot around St. Patrick's Day and Easter... but we had fun. Lil Man went to another birthday party, for a friend of mine's little girl.  She is nine months older than Lil Man but like half a foot taller.  Lil Man was enthralled with her, he followed her around and they played.  He had a really good time, I wish they still lived in town but now they live in Leduc so we don't get as many playdates as we would like.  Lil man ate snacks, played with the piano, played dress up and threw a temper tantrum when it was time to go.  I didn't get many pictures and the ones I did get are very blurry. So today is the start of my 30 days of projects challenge. I haven't worked out all the details yet, but I have decided to make use of my Pinning on Pinterest and actually make some of the interesting Pins they have on that site. I have a tendency to like things on the Internet and create bookmarks with the intention of going back to them in good time, but then things happen and life gets in the way so we don't do them and they get forgotten, but not this time, this time I am doing this for 30 days. Everyday I will do a new pin project and see how it turns out. They can be anything from recipes to crafts, to things for the kids, to even taking a tutorial and trying it out for myself. I need something to get me active and this seems like a great place to start. So today I made play dough for my son using Jello. Strawberry Jello to be exact. It smelt wonderfully and it turned out pretty great as well!! It makes a fair amount so I am thinking I will try to Kool-Aid Play dough ...
