Life's Whirlwind Adventures

Today's topic is Spring, my second most favourite season!! Although sometimes living in Alberta we call it messy winter, but I still love it anyways. Here are my top Five things that I am looking forward to this spring!! 1) My Baby's FIRST birthday!! I am amazed at how fast this year has gone by. I mean he's 10 months already and in two more months he will be a year, a WHOLE year!! It means I am going back to work soon, but my baby will be one and he's such a delightful little guy!! We aren't really planning anything big, but we are doing family pictures and a cake smash for him! He's my baby and my last baby too, so I am relishing these last first milestones!! 2) Running outside, in the morning!! I am a self procl...

The theme for week 17 was good. After some bad weeks, it was hard to pick what I was going to decide to use for week 17, but I came up with a couple. Spring was finally in the air and the blossoms on the flowers were beautiful, I was very happy to be welcoming back spring after a very long, long winter. Also another good thing was getting my NEW CAR (read in Bob Barker voice). I am totally enthralled with my new car and even though it was a pain that my Explorer was written off, I am very happy with how things turned out.

I don't know where he came from, but it started to get warmer out and the evil white stuff finally left and with it my child who did not really care for the outdoors.  In it's place I have a child that will fore go everything, and I mean everything to be outside.  He loves it, he loves to play outside, go for walks or simply just sit outside eating an apple.  This child is simply gaga over spring weather. I am sure it will continue into summer and through fall, but come winter again I will meet that child I had become used to.   Oh and kicker, he's just like me!!!
