Life's Whirlwind Adventures

I know that most people are either dog lovers, cat lovers or general animal lovers, and then there are those other guys... the ones that don't like animals... watch out for them... no just kidding it's all about personal preference and the amount of time you are willing to give to other beings.  For me I always thought I was an animal lover, I didn't think I had much of a preference. I'd had a cat before, whom I loved dearly (she was crazy though) but we parted ways because my oldest was allergic to her and he suffered from terrible sinus issues around her.  I was very sad but my son's health definitely took precedence over wanting a pet. After we didn't have a pet for a long time, we tried another cat but Chandler's allergies flared up so severely that we had to find that kitten a new home.  So then we thought we would try a dog. Sunday I took Sasha for pictures at Fetch Haus in Red Deer.   Alicia was doing a Valentine's Day shoot for puppies and I thought it would be nice to take Sasha for some pictures.  I would take Louis too, but he's a bit unmanageable still, so I left him at home.  Sometimes it's nice to just do things with the girls and Sasha is the only other girl in my family at this point. So of course she looked great this morning then she and Louis went outside to play and got FILTHY!! I swear she was almost like Harry the Dirty Dog, you remember that story???  That was my Sasha, so I had to go out and clean her off.  Louis did not enjoy my brushing Sasha, he is very narcissistic, and thinks all attention should be given to him. As I was getting Sasha settled, he kept coming over and pushing her out of the way.  He's a bit of an arsehole, that's the only word to explain it, I mean he sits on poor Sasha all the time and Sasha is such a wuss, she just takes it. Talk about your pets, or the pets you would like to have I don't know that I would have pets if it were not for my child.   Chandler loves pets and we have had a few.  The first pet I ever had was a black and white cat.  Her name was Lexus and she was a very loyal pet and she was quite a bitch.  She did not like males and she only tolerated other people who were not me.  She had a long patience but when that patience wore out she lashed out.  Chandler had many scratches and bites from her because he kept trying to use her as a pillow.  We don't know where Lexus is, she ended up running away from the farm after we had gave her away because Chandler was allergic.  Funny stories about her, she actually got lost twice before but she was definitely the cat that came back. The second pet I got was Aja.  Aja was a Rottweiler.  She was the gentlest dog ever. I used to tell people to be afraid of Lexus, not Aja. Aja had hip problems ...
